Skytop Apple Orchard Field Trip

Please join Akoma Cares for our annual trip to Skytop Orchard!

Skytop is a beautiful orchard with many varieties of apples to pick and even more apples in the market to purchase pre picked. There’s also tons of jellies, jams, cider, and of course, freshly made apple cider donuts!

Included in this field trip:

Short educational presentation about growing apples

3lb of u-pick apples

A wagon ride around the orchard

There is a cute little playground, a bamboo forest, and a petting zoo that are free to visit.

There are several other activities, such as the Apple cannon, which can be paid for separately.

After the structured part of the field trip we will gather in the picnic area for lunch and socializing. Please bring your own lunch and plenty of water.

The weather on top of the mountain can be quite cooler than the surrounding areas so please bring an extra layer of clothing.
